During the procurement lifecycle, while people are reviewing their options, quite often individuals don’t have a clear understanding of the entire organisation\u2019s needs. The IT facilities team may have been delivered a project due to contracts reaching the end of term and they are investigating data centres in the marketplace. What they may have failed to acknowledge is that there are other business units that have active projects and strategic goals over the next 12 to 48 months that could potentially leverage services that would be tightly bound to the data centre.<\/p>\n
