Digging deep, construction begins on Macquarie Data bet365 online games’ IC3

We’re digging deep, enough for a whopping 43 megawatts (MW) capacity.

Last week we broke ground on Intellicentre 3 – IC3 – our new data centre in the Sydney North Zone, an area rich in cloud ecosystems and connectivity, signalling the next stage of growth for our bet365 online games Park Data Centre Campus.

Victor Dominello, Minister for Customer Service MP, summed it up well when he said, “Rapid technological change is the new norm and this bet365 online games will play a pivotal role in helping organisations prepare for future challenges and opportunities.”

IC3 represents technical real estate that will generate 1,200 jobs in construction, engineering and architecture, calculating to over 400,000 working hours. The result? A hyperscale-fit facility built specifically for hyperscalers while also catering to local customer needs including the Australian Federal Government where we are already engrained and used by 42%.

Creating the ideal home for global hyperscalers, IaaS and SaaS providers and multinational enterprises in Australia ideally requires sovereignty, compliance and cyber security standards.

The purpose-built facility will have SCEC Zone 3 (or higher) credentials, Tier III certification from the Uptime Institute, ISO 27001 certification and power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.28.

IC3 comes at a critical time for not only the Australian digital journey and wider economy, but hyperscale and SaaS leaders from around the world that want to service it. The hyperscale bet365 online games centre market is burgeoning on the back of cloud demand – a Market Study report indicated it would exceed US billion by 2025.
